Have you ever looked at a room on Pinterest that you fell in love with, but had no idea how to translate that to your own home?
Maybe you’ve tried to copy what you see in these gorgeous spaces but for some reason, it never looks the same. This can be so frustrating and leaves a lot of people feeling like they just don’t have “the eye” for design. Even worse, they worry that it’s not even possible for their home to look the way they truly want it to.
Unfortunately, not everyone has the room in their budget for an interior designer to help them fill in the blanks, so what happens is they end up with a home that is “half” decorated or not decorated at all.
If you can relate to any of these struggles, you’ve come to the right place.
Hello and welcome to The Casa Collective!
I’m Peggy Pardo, an interior decorator, professional organizer, and author. I believe that style is about embracing what you love and expressing it in your home and the way you live. I love to show homeowners and renters alike how to decorate their homes. While it’s a lot of fun to look at inspiring rooms (and definitely an important part of the decorating process), the real magic happens when you are able to bring what you love about them to life in your own space.
Without knowing a thing about blogging, I started my first blog Decorating Files in 2012. It was all about sharing inspiration for home decorating and organizing. After a few years, I realized I wanted to not only inspire you, but teach you how you can turn that inspiration into a reality. That’s when I decided to start The Casa Collective.
The Casa Collective is an interior decorating blog fueled by the idea that a beautiful home doesn’t have to be something you only dream about while looking at photos on the internet. It can be accessible to everyone ─ all you need is the knowledge of some simple but powerful design principles.
I’m going to help you take design beyond inspiration by teaching you what you need to know to decorate your home so you can create a space that will inspire you every day.
